Quick-Start Guide
If you're a roleplay veteran and already know how to set up your accounts, great! Get to it! Otherwise, if you're new to this - or if it's been a while, and perhaps you've forgotten - then the tutorial below should help.
Writer/OOC Account
Please register to Polaris first with a Writer account, and choose "Writer" as the account type when registering.
Character/IC Account
Once you have made your Writer account, you can log out and register a new account for your character, this time choosing "Character" as the account type.
• Register as an alternate name, such as "Name2".
• Navigate to Display Name in your User CP. Here you can set your desired name that shows across the site.
You can also attach your character accounts by accessing this page on your Writer Account, and entering the Character account information where prompted instead. Having all of your accounts linked isn't mandatory, per se, but it does make things a lot easier and we'd highly recommend doing it! Reach out to a Staff member if you get stuck - one of us will be happy to give you a hand.
